FREDONIA — Edith Hooks, 92, of Fredonia died Saturday at Rivers Bend Retirement Center in Kuttawa.

She was a homemaker and a member of Crider Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hooks is survived by two sons, Ronnie Hooks and Bill Hooks, both of Caldwell County; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norville Hooks; one son, Bob Hooks; one grandson; five brothers; and three sisters. Her parents were Roger and Nina Martin Blick.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Morgan’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Fox officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Caldwell County.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
