GILBERTSVILLE — Edgar Joseph Edwards, 82, of Gilbertsville died December 21, 2012, at his home.

He was retired from the U.S. Air Force. 

He is survived by two daughters, Gayla Taylor of Columbus, Neb., and Deborah Lynn Edwards of Santa Cruz, Calif.; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Reba Sue Edwards; one brother; and one sister. His parents were Felix Edwards and Ella Green Edwards.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, December 31, 2012, at Collier Funeral Chapel in Benton with David Hendrickson officiating.

Friends may call from noon until 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
