METROPOLIS, Ill. — Dorothy Willey, 84, of Metropolis, formerly of Chicago, died at 12:26 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Southgate Health Care Center.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Albert Willey III of Metropolis; one sister, Rosie Hannon of Metropolis; two brothers, George Mildrenberger of Calvert City, Ky., and Jimmy Mildrenberger of Marshfield, Wis., and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Willey II; one son, Michael Joseph Willey, and three sisters.

Her parents were George Bowman and Mary Mildrenberger.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home.  Burial will be Monday, March 11, 2013, at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Chicago.
