Dorothy Marshall, age 75, of Paducah passed away at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at her residence.

Mrs. Marshall was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to James Vernice and Helen Grace (Cummings) Skaggs. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Paducah and a former medical office receptionist.

She is survived by her husband, Allen Marshall of Paducah, Ky.; three daughters, Diana Davenport and husband Gary of Paducah, Ky., Jennifer Overton and husband Ron of Paducah, Ky., and Stefanie Davis and husband Larry of Paducah, Ky.; three stepdaughters, Toni Parker and husband Scott of Paducah, Ky., Sherree White and husband Greg of Kevil, Ky., and Wendy Lyles and husband Bruce of Calvert City, Ky.; two sisters, Hannah Hand of Houstonia, Mo., and Betty Becker of Mayfield, Ky.; three grandchildren, Christy Riley, Gage and Sarah Overton; six stepgrandchildren, Ashley, Brandon and Camryn White, Erika and Booke Lyles, and Kalen Parker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Vernice and Helen Grace (Cummings) Skaggs; and a sister, Martha Helton.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2012, at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Tommy Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Kenton Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2012, at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
