BARDWELL — Donny Terry, age 69, of Bardwell passed away Monday, October 29, 2012, in Bardwell.

He was an employee of Agri-Chem of Bardwell and retired from Bardwell City Utilities after 28 years of service. He had delivered The Paducah Sun newspaper for 22 years and been a volunteer and Fire Chief for the Bardwell Fire Department. He was a member and deacon of Mississippi Baptist Church.

Donny is survived by his wife of 47 years, Janice Hayes Terry; one son, Robert Blair Terry and wife Tammi of Clinton; and a granddaughter, Lisa Betz, and her boyfriend Lee Gream of Murray. He leaves behind his mother-in-law, Jo Hayes of Bardwell; a brother, Bobby Terry of Calvert City; and a sister, Edwina Petrie of Murray.

Mr. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Gerleen Gray and Henry Terry; and a sister, Nelda Terry.

Funeral services for Donny Terry will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Mississippi Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Burnett and Rev. Rocky James officiating with burial to follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m. Thursday at Mississippi Baptist Church.
