Donnie Ray Taylor, 55, of Paducah died 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at Western Baptist Hospital.

He was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and a U.S. Army veteran. He attended Ware Memorial Church of God In Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Taylor of Irving, Texas; a son, Donnie T. Taylor of Oak Cliff, Texas; two stepdaughters, Meosheeh Ware of Irving, Texas, and Sue Ella Green of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a stepson, Jessie Carruthers of Baton Rouge, La.; his parents, Thad and Fannie Taylor of Paducah; and several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mollie Buchanan; and a brother.

Services will be Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at noon at Ware Memorial Church of God In Christ with the Rev. Marshall Chambers officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may also call after 10 a.m. Tuesday until the funeral hour at the church.
