Mrs. Donna E. Merryman Antonites, age 55, of Paducah, Ky., formerly of Hickman, Ky., passed away at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Baptist Health Paducah.

Donna was full of life, and lived life to its fullest. She was a native of Ypsilanti, Mich., and was of the Baptist faith. She was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, American Legion Post 31, Wounded War Project, Marine Corps Heritage Foundation, United Service Organization, Disabled American Vets, Loyal Order of the Moose, Bridge Street Eagles, International Fund for Animal Welfare, Wildlife Conversation Society, North Shore Animal League, and Humane Society of United States.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Antonites; one daughter, Jessica Chapin of Astoria, Oregon; two sons, Daniel Denson of Union City, Tenn., and Chris Antonites of Evansville, Ind.; her mother, Alice Locke Merryman of Hickman, Ky.; a brother, R.D. James of New Madrid, Mo.; and one granddaughter, Haily Chapin.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alvin Merryman; and a brother, Terry Lynn James.

A memorial service will be held Saturday evening, February 16, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at the Keeling Family Funeral Home, 2410 Jackson Street, Paducah, KY 42003 with the Rev. Mark Lambert officiating.

The family request in lieu of flowers, donations be given to the Wounded Warrior Project, 223 Rosa L. Parks Ave., Suite 301, Nashville, TN. 37203.
