SMITHLAND — Deloris Lambert, 79, of Smithland, formerly of Paducah, passed away at 8:15 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2013, at her residence in Smithland with her daughter Kimbreley and son-in-law Evan and her cousin Sheila Terrill at her side.
She was a member of Gospel Assembly Church and a waitress at The Little Castle Restaurant. Along with her parents, Henry and Orene Wilkins Alvey, she owned and operated Alvey’s Grocery in Grahamville.
She is survived by her two daughters, Crissy Mayo (Keith) of Paducah, Kimbreley Rives (Evan) of Smithland; one son, Mike Feltner (Kim) of Paducah; two brothers, Morris Alvey, Richard Alvey; and one grandson, Jake Mayo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Donnie Alvey, and Wesley Alvey.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Lambert will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Revs. Encil Edmonds and Michael Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at Harmony Cemetery.
Visitation for Mrs. Lambert will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at the funeral home.
