Davies-Hall

Dr. and Mrs. Theodore E.C. Davies of Paducah announce the engagement of their daughter, Ann Elizabeth Davies, to Dr. Joseph Edward Hall, son of Rick Hall of Panama City, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. James Brothers of Allenhurst, Ga.

Ms. Davies is the granddaughter of Mrs. Elizabeth R. Davies of Barbourville and the late Dr. Theodore E. Davies, and the late Marlin and Polly Hultman. She is a 2002 graduate of Paducah Tilghman sports_high_school and a 2006 cum laude graduate of the University of Louisville with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a 2010 graduate of Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia, completing her master’s degree in nurse anesthesia. She is an alumnus of Chi Omega and is employed as a certified registered nurse anesthetist by the Anesthesiology Group of Paducah.

Dr. Hall is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Groves of Belmont, Ohio, and Mr. and Mrs. William Hall of Belmont. He is a 2000 valedictorian of Union Local sports_high_school in Belmont and a 2004 cum laude graduate of the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio, with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology. He is a 2008 graduate of the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine in Cincinnati and a member of Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Hall is completing his residency in otolaryngology head and neck surgery at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn.

Wedding vows will be exchanged May 28 at Broadway United Methodist Church in Paducah.
