CADIZ — David Shoaf, 30, died Saturday in Trigg County.

He had worked as a contract carpenter.

He is survived by his parents, Jim and Alice R. Shoaf of Maricopa, Ariz.

A memorial service will be held later in Maricopa.

Goodwin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
