Mr. David Eugene Harrington, 49, of Metropolis, peacefully went home to be with the Lord Thursday, November 29, 2012, in Belleville, Ill.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012, at Victory Full Gospel Church with the Rev. Jack Rushing and Brenda Rust officiating. Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Metropolis.

David is survived by his parents, Thomas Harrington and wife Brenda and Betty (Carter) Fair and husband James, all of Metropolis; his wife, Laurie Harrington of Metropolis; two daughters, Rebecca Collister and Nikki Callahan, both of Tucson, Ariz.; two sons, Thomas Harrington and Seth Harrington, both of Metropolis; three stepdaughters, Courtney Bushouse of Paducah, Tori Harrington of Metropolis, and Nichole Bennett of Paducah; several grandchildren including Blaike Harrington of Metropolis; four sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 1, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Victory Full Gospel Church in Metropolis.
