MADISONVILLE — Danny “Cash” McGregor, 60, of Madisonville, Ky., passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at his residence.
He was born May 31, 1952 in Hopkins County, Ky., to the late Luther McGregor and Edith Tapp McGregor.
Mr. McGregor was self-employed. He owned Danco Supply and A&D Continuous Guttering.
He graduated from MNHHS in 1971. He served in the National Guard. He was a member of the Hopkins County Bass Club, Lakeshore Country Club, an avid fisherman, and a proud Grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Adrianne of Madisonville; one daughter, Andria (Richard) Smith of Bowling Green, Ky.; one son, Matthew (Tammy) McGregor of Nortonville, Ky.; three brothers, Kenny (Barbara) McGregor of Grand Rivers, Ky., Eddie (Betty) McGregor of Madisonville, and Will McGregor of St. Louis, Mo.; three grandchildren, Madison, Sophie, and Aidan; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2012, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Gaddis officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and after 11 a.m. until the service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Vanderbilt Lung Cancer Program. Envelopes will be made available at the funeral home.
