BENTON — Dale Thompson, 59, of Calvert City died at 11:17 a.m. Thursday, March 14, 2013, at his home.

He was a member of Altona Baptist Church. He was a dock supervisor for UPS Freight.

He is survived by his wife, Becky Greer Thompson; two daughters, Heather Tucker of Lexington and Whitney Thompson of Calvert City; one brother, William Paul Thompson of Paducah, and one sister, Barbara J. Thompson of Paducah.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Paul Thompson and Faye Pauline Beckman Thompson.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Altona Baptist Church. Bro. Roger Rice will officiate, with burial in Calvert City Cemetery. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday at Altona Baptist Church.
