NORFOLK, Va. — Cynthia Paige Goodman and Brett Daniel Lewis were united in marriage May 29 at Granby Theatre in Norfolk with James Goodman of Chesapeake, brother of the bride, officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Becky Goodman of Chesapeake.

The groom is the son of Danny and Marsha Lewis of Paducah.

The bride chose her sister, Mrs. Allison Key of Chesapeake, as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Suzanne Lippy of Boston, Jenny Chambers of Virginia Beach, Alyson Goodman of Chesapeake and Julie Chapoton of New Orleans.

The groom chose his brother, Bart Lewis of Paducah, as his best man. Groomsmen were Brian Waggoner and Mike Adams, both of Paducah, Brandon Chapoton of New Orleans and Steve Coward of Philadelphia.

A reception followed.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Atlantic Shores Christian High School in Virginia Beach and earned a master’s degree in linguistics in 2011 from Boston University in Boston. She is employed by Whole Foods in Boston.

The groom is a 2001 graduate of Lone Oak High School in Paducah and earned a bachelor’s degree in business management in 2010 from Mid-Continent University. He is employed by Whole Foods in Boston.

They reside in Boston.
