MURRAY — Clyde Ory “Casey” Carter, 83, of Belleview, Fla., formerly of Murray, died Monday in Michigan.

He retired from General Motors, was an Army World War II veteran and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by four daughters, Veronica Riss of Murray, Teresa Tybinka of Whitmore Lake, Mich., Cheryl Palmer of Tecumseh, Mich., and Janice McDevitt of Belleview; two sons, Dale Clyde Carter of Tampa and Casey Carter of Alliance, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Roxanna King Carter, and two brothers. His parents were Edward R. Carter and Idella Warren Carter.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Bazzell officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery in Lynn Grove. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
