SYMSONIA — Sonya Theresa Henson and Clinton O’Neal Copeland were united in marriage March 26 at Symsonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Glynn Copeland officiating. Music was provided by Kathy Copeland of Mayfield, vocalist and pianist.

The bride is the daughter of Yvonne Henson of Symsonia and Tom and Ann Henson of Symsonia.

The groom is the son of Kevin and Laura Copeland of Boaz.

The bride chose Ms. Jessica Henson Shimkus of Symsonia and Miss Nicole McManus of Symsonia as her maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Kayla Copeland of Boaz, Mrs. Erica Riley Melton and Mrs. Jessica Wix Key, both of Mayfield. Serving as flower girls were Miss Ava Shimkus and Miss Mya Shimkus, daughters of Jessica Henson Shimkus of Symsonia.

The groom chose Blake Wilson of Symsonia as his best man. Groomsmen were Matt Scoggins, Zach Ladd and Mitchell Rowe, all of Mayfield, and Matt Howard of Symsonia. Serving as ushers were Dewayne Burnett and Brandon Kaufman, both of Paducah.

A reception followed at The Gatherings in Mayfield. Amy Burnett and Hannah Burnett, both of Paducah, attended the guest register.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Graves County High School in Mayfield and earned an associate degree in the diagnostic medical sonography program at West Kentucky Community & Technical College in 2010. She is employed by Western Baptist Hospital.

The groom is a 2006 graduate of Graves County High School and a 2009 graduate of West Kentucky Community & Technical College with an associate degree. He is employed by Calvert City Metal and Alloys.

They reside in Symsonia.
