Claude William Hibner, 70, of Paducah, formerly of West Plains, Missouri, died Tuesday at Lourdes hospital.
Claude was born January 25, 1942, in West Plains, Missouri, to the late Albert and Margaret Bartlett Hibner. He retired after 18 years employment as a maintenance supervisor at Southwest Truck Body. While in West Plains, he attended Friendship Baptist Church and Faith Assembly, and attended Heartland Worship Center in Paducah. He was a farmer, carpenter, and had owned a heating and air business.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Joyce Lea Collins Hibner; two daughters, Debra Long and husband Tim of Paducah and Jamie Fowler and husband Jeremy of Paducah; a son, Steve Hibner and wife Leslie of Paducah; two sisters, Marge Roberts of Oregon and Virginia Kosobud of Illinois; two brothers, Dwight Hibner and Dan Hibner, both of Oregon; seven granddaughters; four grandsons; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Hall; and three brothers, Bill Hibner, Bob Hibner, and Jim Hibner.
Private graveside services will be held Friday at Howell Memorial Park in West Plains, Missouri. There will be no visitation. Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
