GRAND RIVERS — Christy Hollingsworth and Ron Langhans were united in marriage Dec. 31 at Patti’s 1880’s Settlement annex in Grand Rivers.
The bride is the daughter of Carol Wilke of Gilbertsville, the late Herb Wilke and the late Gary Hollingsworth.
The groom is the son of Carl and Melba Langhans of Emerson, Ga., and the late Rose Langhans.
The bride is a 1986 graduate of Marshall County High School in Benton and earned a bachelor’s degree in 1991 and a master’s degree in 2000, both in English Literature from Murray State University in Murray. She is employed as an English teacher at North Stafford High School in Stafford, Va.
The groom is a 1985 graduate of Marshall County High School in Benton and serves as a chief warant officer and tactical communications planning and engineer officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, stationed at Quantico, Va. He is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in technology management from Excelsior College.
They reside in Fredericksburg, Va.
