CADIZ — Charlie Darce Turner, 86, of Louisville, formally of Cadiz, died Saturday at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville.
He was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, retired from General Motors, was a member of the Cadiz Masonic Lodge 121, and a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Charles Turner of Louisville and David Turner of New Orleans; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Turner; two sons; Terry Hoskins and Larry Hoskins; two brothers; two sisters; and his parents were Charlie and Lottie Turner.
Services will be at 12 noon Wednesday at King’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Sexton officiating. Burial will follow in East End Cemetery. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Masonic services at 11:30 Wednesday at the funeral home.
