MAYFIELD — Mr. and Mrs. Charles Coleman of Mayfield will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Patti’s in Grand Rivers.

Mr. Coleman and the former Betty Burke were married Sept. 7, 1952, at Grand Avenue Baptist Church in Carterville, Ill. Their attendants were Bill Kerr and Joyce Adams.

Mrs. Coleman is a former bakery clerk at Smith’s Grocery. She is the daughter of the late Eugene and Elizabeth Burke.

Mr. Coleman is retired from Inland Steel and General Tire. He is the son of the late Allen and Ellen Coleman.

They are the parents of Allen Coleman of Auburn and Diane Schmidt of Covington. They have four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
