Charles (Taco) Ralph Sanchez, age 65, of Paducah, passed away Saturday at Lourdes hospital in Paducah.

He was a member of the St. Thomas More Catholic Church, and retired from the Country Club of Paducah.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Jane Sanchez; one daughter, Maria Ellen Sanchez of Hickory, Ky.; his mother, Mary Louise Sanchez and one sister, Nancy Trevino, both of San Antonio, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Zijfredo Sanchez, and his son Charles Ralph Sanchez Jr.

As per his request, his body was donated to the University of Kentucky for Medical Research.

There will be a Memorial Service today at 9 a.m. at the St. John Catholic Church with Father Tom Buckman officiating.

Family will receive friends at the home of Maria Sanchez after 10 a.m. today. Keeling Family Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
