DECATUR, Ga. — Charles Edward Pittman of Decatur, formerly of Paducah, died Wednesday, June 27, at Emory Hospital in Decatur.

He worked for the Paducah Housing Authority, was a member of the Job Corps and was of the Jehovah’s Witness faith.

Surviving are four sons, Charles Pittman, Jr. of Paducah, Charles E. White and Devon White, both of Detroit and Devon Wilson of St. Louis; two daughters, Crystal White of Detroit and Yukima Green of St. Louis; three brothers, Eugene Pittman of Brookport, Steve Pittman of Paducah and Marvin Maxwell of St. Louis; and four sisters, Glenda Shaw Maddox and Patricia Shaw, both of Louisville, Ashley Trice and Catina Burns, both of Paducah.

His parents were Eugene Pittman and Jonella Bass.

Memorial services will be at 11:30 a.m. today at Mundy Funeral Chapel.
