Mr. Charles “Bunny” Davis, 81, of Paducah, formerly of Brookport, Ill., passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, February 8, 2013, at Aikins-Farmer Brookport Chapel. Rev. Jack Donald Russell will officiate. Burial will follow at Pell Cemetery in Brookport.

Charles was a Mason of New Liberty Lodge and member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 148. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Brookport and loved spending his spare time at home and with family.

Charles is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara; two children, Sheila (Davis) Rudesill of West Paducah and David Davis and wife Terry of Boyton Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren, Justin Rudesill and wife Emily of Energy, Ill., and Jennifer Bone and husband Chris of Lone Oak; four great-grandchildren, Gavin Rudesill, Mason Rudesill, Garrett Bone, and Aubree Bone; two brothers, John Davis and wife Hazel of Brookport and Vernon Davis and wife Sharon of Metropolis, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Beulah (Swinford) Davis; son-in-law, Terry Rudesill; one infant son; his sister, Betty Jordan, and one brother, Kenny Davis. Friends may call at Aikins-Farmer Brookport Chapel Thursday, February 7, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m.
