KEVIL — Mr. and Mrs. Joe Alexander of Kevil recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

Mr. Alexander and the former Beverly Charlene McMurry were married Nov. 23, 1951, at the Methodist Church parsonage in Union City, Tenn. Their attendants were Pat McMurry and Joe Campbell.

Mrs. Alexander is a retired bus driver for the McCracken County School System. She is the daughter of the late Forest McMurry and the late Geneva Weatherford.

Mr. Alexander is a retired game warden for the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife. He is the son of the late L.D. and Selma Alexander.

They have one son, David Alexander of Kevil; one daughter, Joey Benton of Kevil; and four grandchildren.
