SALEM — Mr. Carol Croft, 85, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
Mr. Coft was of the Christian faith, attended Deer Creek Baptist Church, was a US Army veteran, and worked for the Kentucky State Department of Highways for over 20 years.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Margaret Ann Croft; one son, Carol Wayne Croft and his wife Pam of Salem; one sister, Shirley Redd of Salem; two grandsons, T Croft and his wife Gina of Marion; Colby Croft of Salem, and one great-granddaughter, Kiley Croft.
He was preceded in death by one brother and a sister. His parents were Alfred and Pearl Curnel Croft.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors with the Revs. Marty Brown and Herbert Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in White’s Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday evening in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors.
