WATER VALLEY — Carlton Cornelius Francies, 52, of Water Valley died at 10:14 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at his home.
He was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Francies; a daughter, Andrea Kay Francies of Metropolis, Ill.; two stepdaughters, Karen Wilds of South Fulton, Tenn., and Emily McClure of Water Valley; one stepson, Michael Akers of South Fulton, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; his mother, Frances June (Powell) Francies of Elkton; and two brothers, Nathan Francies and Steven Francies, both of Elkton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arvil Ray Francies; and a brother.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Water Valley Pentecostal Tabernacle with burial to follow in Water Valley Pentecostal Tabernacle Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2013, at the church.
