Carla Wells Ford, 71, of Paducah, passed away 9 p.m. Friday October 19, 2012, at her residence.

She was a member of Olivet Baptist Church. She was also a retired Rural Postal Carrier.

Survivors include her son, Gerald M. Wigginton Jr. and his wife Cassia of Louisville; her mother, Oleese Wells Smith; one sister, Clyda Harris of West Paducah; one stepsister, Joe Lana Orton of Denver, Colo.; one stepbrother, Jerry Smith of Littleton, Colo.; and four grandchildren, Katie, Zander, Laura Beth, and Grayson Wigginton.

She was preceded in death by her father, Odie C. Wells.

Memorial graveside services will be held at Maplelawn Park Cemetery Monday, October 29, 2012, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Tommy Tucker officiating.

There will be no visitation.
