Kirk P. and Natalie Byrn III of Mayfield announce the engagement of their daughter, Tiffany Lynn Byrn, to Korey Lewis Young, son of Janet M. Young of Louisville and the late Robert L. Young.

Miss Byrn is the granddaughter of Gerald and Bobbie Harwood of Paducah, and Flora Byrn of Mayfield and the late Kirk P. Byrn Jr. She is a 2005 graduate of Graves County High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2011 from Spalding University in Louisville. She is pursuing a master’s degree in family nurse practitioner from the University of Cincinnati. She is an alumna of Chi Omega sorority and is employed by the University of Kentucky Healthcare.

Mr. Young is the grandson of Jeanne B. Lewis of Louisville and the late John C. Lewis, and the late Sarah J. Young. He is a 2005 graduate of St. Francis De Sales School in Louisville and earned a bachelor’s degree in agriculture in 2010 from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green. He is an alumnus of Kappa Alpha fraternity and is employed by Farm Credit Mid-America in Lexington.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 6 p.m. Oct. 6 at First Christian Church in Mayfield.
