Phillip and Leesa Brown of Kirbyton announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Elizabeth Brown, to Brandon Terrell Holland, son of Rhonda English of Benton, Johnny Wall of Kuttawa and the late Aubrey Holland.

Miss Brown is the granddaughter of Joyce Mason of Kirbyton and the late Randall Mason, and the late Hervie and Billie Brown. She is a 2006 graduate of Carlisle County High School and a December candidate for graduation from Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Mr. Holland is the grandson of Terrell English of Benton and the late Shirley English, and the late Chester and Rhonda Holland. He is a 2003 graduate of Marshall County High School and a 2008 graduate of Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications systems management. He is employed as a technical support engineer at ADTRAN in Huntsville, Ala.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 17 at Kirbyton Baptist Church in Kirbyton. All relatives and friends are invited to the ceremony and reception following at St. Charles fellowship hall.
