BENTON — Amber Christine Ash and Brian Reed Carmack were united in marriage Aug. 6 at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church in Benton, with the Rev. David Montgomery and the Rev. Dr. AnnMarie Montgomery officiating. Music was provided by Miss Alexis Ash, pianist, and Jack Mabry.
The bride is the daughter of Dorothy Rohde of Benton and Chris and Rhonda Ash of Paducah. The groom is the son of Ricky Carmack of Benton and LaDona Carmack of Benton.
The bride chose Miss April Baker of Benton as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Crystal Schuster of Benton, Miss Carlie Rohde of Murray and Mrs. Mary Liz Hill of Benton. Flower girl was Miss Anna Carmack of Louisville. Ringbearer was Jackson Ard, son of Dr. Justin and Pilar Ard of Nashville, Tenn.
The groom chose Josh Lovett of Benton as his best man. Groomsmen were Trey Nelson of Gilbertsville, Rodney Graybill of Benton and Adam Hill of Benton. Serving as ushers were Electrician’s Mate 2nd Class U.S. Navy Tim Micke of El Paso, Texas, and Parker Griffith of Starkville, Miss.
A reception followed at the Calvert City Country Club in Calvert City. Serving as guest register attendants were Mrs. Kristy Griffith of Starkville, Miss., and Miss Karen Carmack of Benton.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Marshall County High School in Benton and a 2010 graduate of Murray State University with a bachelor of science degree. She is employed by Paschall Truck Lines in Murray.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Marshall County High School in Benton. He is employed by Quality Carriers of West Kentucky.
The couple resides in Benton.
