Brenda Joyce Chapman, 71, of Paducah died at 8:52 p.m. Thursday at Lourdes hospital.

Mrs. Chapman was a member of Oasis Worship Center and a member of Homemakers of America.

Surviving are three sons, Bill Chapman, Tony Chapman, and Bryan Chapman, all of Paducah; one brother, Winston Jaynes of Princeton; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Chapman; one sister; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild. Her parents were Leslie and Ruby Jaynes.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Lindsey Funeral Home in Paducah, with the Rev. Larry Starnes officiating.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Cremation will follow at the Cremation Society of Paducah.
