Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kortz of Paducah will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 1 to 4 p.m. today at the Hendron Lions Club hosted by their daughters. All friends and relatives are invited. The couple request no gifts.

Mr. Kortz and the former Bonnie Lou Crowley were married Nov. 24, 1962, by the Rev. William Fields at St. Francis de Sales Church in Paducah. Their attendants were Doris Scheer and Martin Scheer.

Mrs. Kortz is the daughter of the late William H. and Eva Mae Crowley.

Mr. Kortz is the son of the late Frank and Mary Kortz.

They have three daughters, Karen Tyler of Mayfield, Sharon Duke of Louisville and Carla Shaw of Paducah; and seven grandchildren.
