MURRAY — Beverly Dodson, 77, of Murray died at 5:35 p.m. Thursday at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Kenneth Dodson of Hardin and Kevin Dodson of Tampa, Fla.; one sister, Nancy James of Paducah; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; seven nephews; and six nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Dodson; one sister; and her parents, Claude and Frances James.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Lindsey Funeral Home in Paducah with the Rev. Richard Beck officiating.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home.
