CALVERT CITY — Betty Tyler Peeler Reed, 79, of Calvert City passed away at 9:52 p.m. Friday, June, 7, 2013, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Paducah.
Betty was a member of Jesus Name Tabernacle Church and will always be remembered for her love of God.
Betty is survived by her husband, Bro. Erby Reed; two daughters, Mary Hobbs and husband R.D. of Calvert City and Pat Pruden and husband Rick of Hickory; three sons, Pastor Raymond Connor and wife Emma of Graves County, Pastor Tommy Peeler and wife Angie of Paducah, and Pastor Johnny Peeler and wife Cindy of Paducah; two sisters, Thelma Lindsey of Paducah and Rudy Saffer of Paducah; two brothers, Earl Tyler of Texas and Gene Tyler of Florida; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Betty is preceded in death by her first husband, Leon Peeler; one son, James Dennis Peeler; two grandsons, Craig Peeler and Thomas Peeler Jr.; and several brothers and sisters. Her parents were Ernest Bell and Jettie Mae Legate Tyler.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 10, 2013, at Milner & Orr Funeral home of Paducah with Pastor Tommy Peeler officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, June, 9, 2013, at the funeral home.
