FULTON — Barbara Rice, 78, of Fulton died Sunday at Parkway Regional Hospital.

She was a member of First Baptist Church and was a retired city clerk for Fulton, where she worked from 1964 to 1997.

She is survived by two daughters, Karen Anne Coxwell of Oplika, Ala., and Rosemary Jones of Columbus; a son, G.B. Rice of South Fulton, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers. Her parents were Louis Alvin Rogers and Iva Thula Cruce Aylor.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Greenlea Cemetery in Fulton. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hornbeak Funeral Home.
