CALVERT CITY — Anna June Westfall, 90, of Calvert City, passed away peacefully Friday, April 26, 2013, at 2:42 p.m. at Marshall County Hospital in Benton.
June was born Wednesday, July 19, 1922, in Aleppo, Pennsylvania, to the late Harrison Caldwell and Anna (Whipkey) Caldwell. June was a member of Calvert City United Methodist Church, the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW, North Marshall Senior Citizens, and was a Kentucky Colonel.
June is survived by her daughter, Connie King of Calvert City; her sons, Dale (Sharon) Riggle of Dayton, Ohio, and David (Darla) Riggle of Wheeling, W.Va.; stepsons, Fred Jr. (Maryann) Westfall of Salesville, Ohio, Charles (Donna) Westfall of Fairpoint, Ohio, Tom Westfall of Glendale, W.Va., and Russell (Vickie) Westfall of Cadiz, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
June was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Westfall; one son, Robert Riggle; one stepson, James Westfall; two brothers, Holbert Caldwell and Rollin Caldwell; and two sisters, Mae Orth and Lula Gruse.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 29, 2013, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Collier Funeral Home in Benton. Friends may also visit with the family after 9 a.m. until the funeral hour, Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Calvert City United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Calvert City United Methodist Church in Calvert City. Rev. Dr. Eddie Bromley will officiate. Burial will be in Benton Cemetery immediately follow the services.
