Mr. and Mrs. Mark  J. Anderson of Paducah announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristina Marie Anderson, to John Vincent Mulhall, son of Vincent Mulhall of Peoria, Ill., and Mrs. Freda Mulhall of Champaign, Ill.

Miss Anderson is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Gerald McCrate of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Anderson. She is a graduate of St. Mary High School in Paducah and earned a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Mo. She is employed by Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

Mr. Mulhall is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Nykaza, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Mulhall. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois-Champaign with a bachelor’s degree in finance and actuarial science. He is employed by McKinsey & Co. in Chicago.

A May wedding is planned.
