MCKENZIE, Tenn. — Amiyah Mahkina Watkins, infant daughter of Ray and Stephanie Holmes Watkins of McKenzie, Tenn., died Saturday at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville.

She is survived by her parents, Ray and Stephanie Holmes Watkins; her brother, Mahki Watkins of McKenzie, Tenn.; her sister, Victoria Heath of Shawnee, Kan.; her grandparents, John and Cynthia Snyder of Gleason, Tenn., and Steve and Conita Holmes of Mayfield; her great-grandfather, Connie Skaggs of Mayfield; and great-grandparents, J.P. and Alene Holmes of Mayfield.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Juanita Skaggs.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at North Mount Zion Cemetery with the Rev. Gene Price officiating. Friends may call after noon Thursday at Byrn Funeral Home.
