Amanda Elizabeth Harton and Jeffery Richard Sturm Jr. were united in marriage June 30 at First Baptist Church of Paducah with Ian Grimm officiating. Music was provided by Devonda Treece of Paducah, pianist, and Lori Wyatt of Louisville, vocalist.

The bride is the daughter of Allen and Nancy Harton of Paducah.

The groom is the son of Jeff and Mindy Sturm of Paducah.

The bride chose Mrs. Jessie Meiser of Lexington and Mrs. Jennifer Bradley of Paducah as her matrons of honors. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Sabrina Hacker of Manchester, Mrs. Melissa Solomon of Virginia Beach, Va., Mrs. Jennifer Vlahos of Louisville and Mrs. Beth Poore of Paducah. Serving as flower girl was Miss Alex Poore, daughter of Andy and Beth Poore of Paducah.

The groom chose Austin Ward of Lexington as his best man. Groomsmen were Jacob Matlock of Murray, Kenny Marsh and Andy Poore, both of Paducah, Chris Clark of Nashville, Tenn., and Kody Carpenter of Lexington. Ushers were Eric Garner of Nashville, Tenn., and Spencer Loftus of Hopkinsville.

A reception followed at the Luther F. Carson Four Rivers Center.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Lone Oak High School in Paducah and earned a bachelor’s degree in 2007 and a master’s degree in 2009, both in occupational therapy from Eastern Kentucky University. She is employed by Hampton Physical Therapy.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Reidland High School in Paducah and a 2009 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and health promotion. He is employed by the McCracken County Board of Education.

The couple reside in Paducah.
