Allard Lee Fenwick, 70, a native of Paducah, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospice in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on August 6, 2012, after a long illness.
He was the son of the late Benjamin Allard Fenwick and the late Wilma Riley Fenwick.
Mr. Fenwick was a graduate of Heath High School class of 1960 and Murray State University class of 1964, where he received a bachelor of science degree in chemistry. He was a United States Army and Vietnam veteran, serving his country working in research at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D.C. He was a leading pharmaceutical sales representative for Bristol Myers Squibb in East Texas. Upon retirement, he spent many years traveling and resided in Gulfport, Mississippi.
He is survived by a brother, Steven Fenwick, and sister, Diane Fenwick of West Paducah; and an aunt, Edith Pinnegar, and uncle, A.D. Riley, both of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
He will be cremated and his ashes returned to Paducah.
