BARDWELL — Alda Mae Docterman Hogancamp, resident of Bardwell, passed away August 19, 2012 at Lourdes hospital.

Alda served as Carlisle County Treasurer for 25 years and Bardwell City Treasurer for 12 years. She was a member of Bardwell Baptist Church.

She was born July 20,1937 to the late Dallas and Artie Sallie Docterman of Bardwell.

Alda is survived by two daughters, Jeanne Teasley (Greg) of Cunningham and Judy Hogancamp of Bardwell; one son, Michael W. Hogancamp (Karla) of Bardwell; seven grandchildren, Kasey Teasley, Nick Teasley (Ivy), Ross Alan Teasley (Ashley), Matthew Hogancamp (Ashlea), Lauradell Wilson (Derek), Emily Thompson (Kelly), and Travis Calvert; two great-grandchildren, Chase Teasley and Jasey Mae Smith; and a half-sister, Ruth Speelman.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas L. Hogancamp; second husband, Junior Schrodes; an infant son, Thomas L. Hogancamp, Jr.; one sister, Juliett Garrett; and two brothers, Ray Morris and Farris Docterman.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Roselawn Cemetery in Bardwell. A fellowship meal will be held at Bardwell Baptist Church Outreach Center immediately following the graveside service. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell is in charge of arrangements.
