CADIZ — Agnes Hendricks Aleshire, 89, of Cadiz died Saturday, March 2, 2013, at her home.

She was a member of New Light Baptist Church where she served in the Women’s Missionary Union, a member of Goodwin Funeral Home’s Grief and Loss Family Support Group, a Kentucky Colonel, and a housewife.

She is survived by two sons, J.L. Hendricks and Robert Gayle Hendricks, both of Cadiz; five daughters, Susie Hendricks, Barbara Holloway, Judy Mitchell, and Lynn Adams, all of Cadiz, and Mary Lou Cary of Hopkinsville; two sisters, Margie Nelums and Lucille Tumblison, both Cadiz; 21 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert N. Hendricks; second husband, Clarence Aleshire Jr.; one brother; two sisters; and three grandchildren. Her parents were Ernest Oliver Sr. and Lula Agnes Oliver.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Revs. Terry Mitcheson, Bob McIntosh and Jimmy Jones officiating. Burial will follow at East End Cemetery in Cadiz.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at the funeral home.
