The Calloway County High School Chemistry team won 1st place at the 42nd annual Murray State University Chemistry Scholarship Tournament on Nov. 8. The team of Cody Bergman, Aaron Collie, Landon Fike, Simon Mikulcik accompanied by their chemistry teacher, Erica Gray, defeated 19 schools from four states, bringing home more than $2,800 in scholarships and $550 in cash prizes. Three CCHS students earned individual honors. Aaron Collie won 4th place, Simon Mikulcik won 3rd place, and Landon Fike took 1st place.
