Our later years are given over to those things and adventures not given enough time for in youth.

A game of golf, weekly visits to the local library, exploring our ancestry, losing another game of chess, minutes of introspection (just enough to right the rudder), proving our business acumen by buying and selling stock, family reunions every year to share time with our clan, and a little travel to see just a tad of this great country we call America.

Some poet of fame reminded us, "Getting and spending we lay waste our powers." My own addition to this is, "Life would be so shallow without the Christian Word."
