Every move administration makes is to increase president's power

By ELMER L. HENDERSON Paducah

EDITOR:

It is plain to see that the liberal element in our society today cares little for the sacrifices made to gain the freedoms we as a nation enjoy. The sacrifices made and lives lost in the keeping of our Constitution and its guarantees have been many. The salvation of our nation depends entirely on the people of our nation and if they have the intestinal make-up of their forefathers.

Our Constitution and its statutes have been trampled on shamefully by this administration now in the White House and from all indications they look as though they expect to continue. The nefarious ways of operating extend to every department of our federal government or so it seems; all you have to do is watch the news.

The ruling Judge Roberts made calling Obamacare a tax is an insult to the intelligence of anyone who can read the 10th Amendment.

The operations of this administration are a prime example of the Southside of Chicago politics. Every move made of any significance is calculated to increase the president's authority and power, all of it contrary to what the framers of our Constitution intended. We must have leaders in the White House and in both houses of Congress who believe as our forefathers did.
