KUTTAWA -- Randy Dycus Sr., 64, of Kuttawa died Friday, May 4, 2018, at his home.

Mr. Dycus was a member of Frances Community Church in Crittenden County and retired after 23 years of service from the Kentucky Department of Highways Maintenance as an inspector.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 40 years, Phyllis Yates Dycus of Kuttawa; a son, James Randy Dycus Jr.; a brother, Barry Todd Dycus of Kuttawa; a sister, Marilyn Stewart of Gracey; a granddaughter; and a grandson, both of Kuttawa.

He was preceded in death by a brother. His parents were James H. Dycus and Dorothy Hamby Whitener.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2018, at Dunn's Funeral Home in Eddyville with the Rev. James Oats officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today, May 6, 2018, at the funeral home.
