Billy Charles 'Chuck' Liles Jr.

BOAZ - Billy Charles "Chuck" Liles Jr., 56, of Boaz, Kentucky, passed away at 9:40 a.m. Sunday, August 24, 2014, at Baptist Health Paducah.

In keeping with Chuck's loving and generous spirit, it was his decision to donate life so that others may live, as an organ donor.

He was a 35-year member of the Plumbers & Steamfitters Local Union 184, a 1976 graduate of Reidland High School and a member of the Paxton Park Golf Course and Lone Oak First Baptist Church. He loved playing golf, riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles, spending time with his family, friends and his beloved dogs, Harley, Lexie, Sophie and Lucy.

He is survived by his wife, Melanie Rist Liles of Boaz; two daughters, Barbie Clark and Katie Liles, both of Paducah; three stepchildren, Brooke Lawrence, Meagan Wray and Hunter Yewell, all of Paducah; his mother, Lacy Mitchell Liles of Paducah; one sister, Nancilynn Jones of Sharpe; one brother, Sid Liles of Carmi, Illinois; nine grandchildren, Travis, TJ, Kit, Madilyn, Miley, Brooklyn, Elli-J, Eden and Blake; and his daughters' mother, Lisa Hall of Benton, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Liles Sr.; his grandparents, HC and Ruby Weatherford Liles and Orville and Opal Yancy Mitchell.

Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2014, at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. John Smithmier officiating.

Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2014, at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to McCracken County Animal Shelter, 455 County Park Road, Paducah, KY 42001.
