Lula Taylor

SOUTH FULTON, Tenn. - Lula Bunton Taylor, 84, of South Fulton died Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Obion County Nursing Home in Union City.

She was a member of South Fulton Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for 30 years and was also a member of the Christian Women's Club.

She had worked for the former Baybee Shoe Co. in Union City, the former Ferry Morse Seed Co. in Fulton and the former Stanley Jones in South Fulton.

She is survived by her husband, George M. Taylor; two daughters, Jane Bailey and Karen Jones, both of South Fulton; two sisters, Joyce Jones of South Fulton and Helen Martin of St. Louis; three brothers, Robert "Leo" Bunton of Livonia, Mich., James Bunton of St. Louis and Donald Bunton of South Fulton; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil Robert Taylor; three brothers; and two sisters. Her parents were Jess and Molly Sadler Bunton.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014, at the funeral home.
