Louise Cooper

Mallie Louise Cooper, 94, of West Paducah, Ky., died Monday, June 23, 2014, at 6:10 a.m. at Superior Care Home.

Louise was a longtime member of Harmony Baptist Church. Louise was a homemaker and attended Heath High School. She taught Beginners and Primary children in Sunday School at Harmony Baptist Church for many years and was a member of the church choir.

Survivors include two daughters, Paula Trautmann and husband Bruce of Lone Tree, Colo., and Annette Wetzel of West Paducah, Ky.; one son, Don Cooper and wife Karen of Lexington, Ky.; one sister, Ruth Story of Paducah, Ky.; six grandchildren, Christopher Cooper and fiancee Danielle Goulding of Lexington, Ky., Barry Cooper and wife Elizabeth of Lexington, Ky., Susan Kirkpatrick and Stephen Gilmore, both of Littleton, Colo., James G. Heady and wife Karen of Land of Lakes, Fla., Bryan Alan Heady and wife Rebecca of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; seven great-grandchildren, Bradley and Kenny Hutchison of Florida, Jessica Cunningham and husband Jeffrey of San Diego, Calif., James Kyle Heady of Florida, Olivia Kirkpatrick and Ally Kirkpatrick of Littleton, Colo., and Henry and Mallie Lynn Cooper of Lexington, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Friday, June 27, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Revs. Jewell Barrett and Andy Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may call Thursday, June 26, 2014, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
