Rosa Mae Worley Feast

Rosa Mae (Worley) Feast, formerly of Paducah, passed away at her home in Palm Harbor, Fla., on Friday, April 25, 2014, at 2 a.m. at the age of 86.

Rosa Worley married George Feast in 1947. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, John and Veneita Worley; a son, James; two brothers, Glen Worley and James Worley; and a sister, Annie Catherine Jordan.

She is survived by a daughter, Julia Pharisien; three grandchildren, Tessa Rose, David Cole and Reid "Little Brother" of Naples, Fla.; two brothers, Ollie Worley of Sierra Vista, Arizona, and Howard Worley of Mayfield, Ky.; six sisters, Mary Alice Henson of Jackson, Tenn., Nina Ivey of Dukedom, Tenn., Gladys Wall of Martin, Tenn., Ruth Ochoa of Houston, Texas, Helen McGowan of Troy, Tenn., Shirley Edwards of Benton, Ky.; lifelong friends, Darrell and Jane Bollinger of Reidland, Ky., Drs. Jason and Karen Bannister and family of Paducah, Ky.

Rosa reared her children in Lone Oak and was the owner of the local "Burger Bar" and worked at the Katterjohn Building for Mr. George Katterjohn at Katterjohn Concrete Products before retiring to Florida.

A Celebration of Life service was held at her favorite beach, Honeymoon Island in Dunedin, Fla., on Mother's Day.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2014, at 3 p.m. at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. David Bayer officiating.

Visitation will be after 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Mt. Kenton Cemetery of Lone Oak.
